THE FUTILITY OF LIFE

This old cartoon of me is sort of depressing, but even so, I enjoy looking at it! It reminds me of The Myth of Sisyphus by Albert Camus. Ahh the existentialist's love affair with the futility of life! Camus compared our existence with the destiny of Sisyphus of Greek Mythology fame: that of rolling a boulder up the mountain only to have it roll down again each time he tried to reach the top. As tough as it might be, I prefer my birds to his boulder!
